Mariano deGuzman
Mariano is the Founder of Nimbly. Prior, he launched Appalatch in 2012 in rural North Carolina using a hyper-local supply chain and produced 5,000 on-demand knit products. Mariano was previously in charge of teams and global campaigns for international NGOs working on solutions to fight inequality. He did graduate studies at Harvard.
Kurt Cavano
Kurt is Nimbly’s CEO. Previously, Kurt was the CEO and founder of Tradecard/GT Nexus, the largest supply chain platform in the world used by over 65,000 companies in the apparel industry. Kurt serves on the board of the American Apparel and Footwear Association. He received his MBA in Computer Applications from NYU.
Kevin Sladek
Kevin is the Co-Founder of Nimbly. He started and successfully led a technology start-up — now called SAY Media — that raised over $125M and employed 200 people. Kevin served two tours of duty as a light-attack helicopter pilot and continues to serve as a flight instructor for the Marines. He is a Yale graduate.
Ellen Freeborn
Ellen is Employee #1 and Nimbly’s do-it-all, jack-of-all-trades. She joined Nimbly from Macy's where she designed, sourced, and produced knit apparel. She studied Fashion Design at Kent State and interned at Appalatch, Stoll Fashion + Technology NY, and the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator.
